I bought firewood from them.Not only did they not deliver it they won't answer or reply to phone calls or emails. After two and a half weeks I ended up getting a phone call and then a refund.

Update: I finally resolved the issues having spoken to one of the staff, unsure why JPS could contact me, but having spoken to a staff member, the logs were delivered the same day, I have updated my review to a 3 Star. Ordered a few weeks in advance, selected an appropriate and yet no delivery happened, i called but was advised that it may be delivered sometime over the next few days, but to email the office. I did, and still no reply. Not good at all

I placed an order for a ton of hard wood and have had nothing, I called and was told to email with order number which I did and have not heard anything, I have paid for this.

Let me be fair and outline start to finish. The ordering process was easy. 2 options, pay online or cash on delivery for logs. The cash option obviously has to have someone in. The delivery timescale was longer than most, also worth mentioning the key word is Estimated. If you need to have these logs urgently or on a very specific day, perhaps not suitable however if you are a bit more flexible its fine. The logs (this is my second delivery) have burnt well. First order was Ash. Second order mixed hardwood. The Ash burnt very well. I haven't used any of the new delivery. It arrived surface wet so would need to dry out for a few days first but is seasoned. Niall who delivered was VERY good. Polite and friendly and wanted to ensure I was completely satisfied. Nothing was too much trouble. Thank you. Price seemed competitive. So to summarise. Product good, communication from order to delivery was limited and lacking which I fed back. I will be ordering again

Ordered and paid for logs to be delivered on Friday 17th. My wife took the day off work to take care of expected delivery. Delivery never turned up. Called and got through to someone who said "send an email and we will get back to you with a delivery date" Still no email. Tried calling numerous times over the past few days but keep getting answering machine. Will be sending an email asking for a refund. ***UPDATE*** I have now had a phone call to sort out this situation. Logs are being delivered tomorrow.
