Our weekly training sessions with Dannyelle were absolutely fantastic. She identified the training techniques that would work best for our rescue lurcher, Kobe, and explained in a friendly and courteous manner how we could put them into action. Thanks to Dannyelle, Kobe walks well on the lead now, responds to commands and is a lot more relaxed around the house, after being something of a handful! We couldn't be happier with the progress Kobe made - thank you, Dannyelle!

I booked a few 1:1 sessions, with Dannyelle, as I wanted some guidence on a few issues we were having with our little jack russell, Charlie. Each session was geared towards these issues and went very well. The guidence given has been invaluable and I am so pleased with the results Charlie and I have acheived, with Dannyelle's help. Charlie is now walking better on a lead, recall is improving and Dannyelle has given me the confidence to know how to tap into the terrier side of Charlie's nature rather than struggling against it. I would 100% recommend Dannyelle if you need assistance with any apect of training your dog. She expains why/what needs to be done, even if it means training the owner first!

Both Helen and Joy have been absolutely brilliant with my daughter, who has a phobia of dogs. We got in touch with them because we were desperate to help her overcome her fear. Although this isn’t a service they normally offer, Joy was keen to chat through what we needed and immediately set about making a plan to help us. From the first meeting, Joy’s calm, fun and friendly approach put my daughter at ease. She has so far had two sessions with Joy and her lovely dog, Gerry, and been along to observe Helen’s puppy training class. By the end of her second session, my daughter was happily feeding and stroking Gerry, something I would never have imagined possible three weeks previously. This is just the beginning of a long journey for us, but I can’t thank Joyful Dogs enough for helping my daughter start to gain some confidence. Highly recommend!

Joyful dogs has been amazing, we did the 6 week puppy class and as a first time dog owner could not have asked for a better experience. Helen was fantastic and her classes were clear, informative and tailored to the individual puppies needs. It was great to build the foundation to understand and work with my new puppy and I have seen such an improvement in our relationship and training. Could not recommend Joyful dogs enough!!

Helen was great, she certainly had lots of knowledge and could answer any questions and you felt the support was there at anytime should you need it. We have had 3 Golden retrievers before but we still learnt lots of things by taking Dylan to Joyful dogs puppy school (we also did their puppy pre-school) so would highly recommend it. Dylan was quite nervous to start with particularly as.he was away from his big brother Barney but by the end of the course he was so much more confident.

Joyful Dogs was recommended to us by an existing client and I have to say, as a first time dog owner, they have been amazing. They have given both our golden retriever puppy Tate so much confidence and ourselves a better understanding of what to expect from our puppy. We got Tate at 8 weeks old and started training with Dannyelle at 9 weeks, doing one to one sessions most weeks and several socialisation classes, which is making Tate a joy. People we meet on walks often commenting on his good behaviour. Dannyelle is extremely knowledgeable, patient and kind, always available to answer any concerns or queries and has helped so much with things from good food choices to the kit we needed to help with training. I would highly recommend her and Joyful Dogs, their website is a fountain of useful information. We have been gradually progressing Tate’s training from the garden using fun games to recall training in the park (with all its distractions). We will be continuing with our training as Tate develops and grows, confident that with Dannyelle and Joyful Dogs help, we will get the best out of our puppy.
