    Really lovely shop to visit. Went in as I had decided on a Janome sewing machine that I wanted as a first machine. They didn't have it in stock but ordered it there and then and it was ready to pick up the very next day. Friendly, helpful, knowledgeable. Excellent.

    Called in whilst in Scarborough for the day, bought some sparkly fabric for my next make for Elton John concert in June, the lady (sorry I'm useless with names!) was super friendly and helpful and I'll be visiting again and again without a doubt as well as using the online shop. Would've spent a lot LOT longer in there looking at the fabulous fabrics but my 11yo son was in tow so I had to keep myself in check!

    Lovely shop, but terrible phone service. I ordered online and have received no communication from the shop; I telephoned a few days later to check on the progress of my order (given the lack of communication) and the man on the phone was very abrupt an impolite, refused to take my details and check that the order had been received, instead snapping at me that as there are no parcels in the shop it must have already been sent. While he may be correct (time will tell) given that I have received no acknowledgment of my order (save a transaction receipt from PayPal) I don't feel like checking my order was received is asking too much. snapping at customers may not be the best way to deal with a simple enquiry!

    Well worth the drive from brid, ladies where so so helpful 😀 I got several fabrics at a great price and cushion panels too, new rotary blades and some very cheap gutterman thread!
