We are returning to Josephine Swannie's this Fall. It was late 2019 when we first visited 66 Ifield Rd and because of the Covid situation we were reluctant to travel anywhere. Her b & b offers a restful night's sleep and a very good breakfast with no hassle. The rooms are large and the washrooms (shared) are immaculate. Although in the heart of a magnificent and large city, her place seems like a sanctuary. Close by, to the east, are some of the finest and reasonable restaurants in Chelsea. Mia Mamma (a Rick Steves pick) and the Hollywood Arms and further east on Fulham Rd is Riccardo's. Josephine offers you full value and engaging conversation--if you want.
