York's new (January 2020) community radio station. 40+ presenters, daytime radio schedule and evenings and weekends devoted to specialist music of every imaginable genre. Amended September 2021: Unfortunately it transpires that the intention of the management of this station is to 'convert' to a commercial station. With this in mind they have already begun to shed specialist music space for more daytime musical banality. In their increasingly desperate but inevitably fruitless attempt to establish a commercial station 'by stealth' in an already overcrowded market they have thrown out the baby (and their most useful insider critics) with the bathwater. I give it a year at best.
