  I cannot understand how this firm has got 5-star reviews? I agree with the 1-star points below that they seem intent on causing divisions, we were having an amicable split and they seem to be pushing for a dispute not resolutions, jeopardising our co-parenting relationship in the future. I found this firm unprofessional especially emails I received from Amy Stone inferring I was not making full and frank disclosures, also there were several errors with the paperwork which had to be changed several times.

  5 stars from me. My divorce was wrapped up quickly and efficiently in the midst of Covid. I always found Claire and Mai-Ling to be responsive, extremely professional and kind. I’m a year post-divorce now; my ex and I have a good relationship and co-parent effectively. Things are how I hoped and imagined things would look like. Claire was recommended to me by a girlfriend, I have already recommended the firm to other friends and will continue to do so!

  Lisa took over my relatively complex international divorce when I seemed to not be getting anywhere with my first lawyer. The financial negotiation involved assets in four countries, three currencies and differing legal jurisdictions, with the other side being slow, incompetent and often rude. It was an acrimonious situation, and I felt Lisa had just the right balance of being tough and hard-nosed when necessary in the negotiation, whilst also being correct and fair. She showed compassion for the personal situation of me and my children, and is a courteous and empathetic person to deal with. She was competent in her business acumen concerning the mathematics of the negotiation, such as the foreign currency exchange issues, and complex spreadsheets. I was very happy with my outcome and can recommend her unreservedly.

  I could honestly not have asked for a better law firm to represent me. Jones Nickolds was recommended to me by a friend who works in Law field too and told me how highly regarded this firm was, I was not disappointed. During a really unpleasant time in my life they provided me with so much support and excellent advice, which stood me in such good stead for the final hearing. Lisa, who is a partner at the firm, was my first point of contact when I initiated divorce proceedings and she supported in steering me through the process with both Ellen and Natasha helping with all the ground work. They truly went above and beyond, even calling me after hours to check that I was okay when we were let down multiple times by the court system with delays. They showed me immense kindness and such immeasurable professionalism. My divorce took four years and needless to say the result was better than what I could have hoped for ! They steered me in selecting the most incredible barrister to represent me and all in all, they were an absolute powerhouse team ! Couldn't recommend them enough !

  Caring, professional and experienced. Highly recommend. They are honest and state the facts. Gemma and Mai-Ling were on my side from the first meeting but were able to explain why the application of law might be difficult to accept when emotions are high. This was so important to hear and helped as the process continued. Divorce is difficult for many reasons but this team and company were there for me. Highly recommend them.

  Agree with Ingrid’s review below. A year into the process, tens of thousands spent (about 10-15% of the assets), not even at a stage we can negotiate. I wonder what they think is reasonable - 40%? 50? They seem intent on causing divisions between co-parents rather than any consideration to Resolution’s Code of Conduct. Ignore requests to try mediation or ADR. Nobody’s winning in this case except Jones Nickolds.

  I engaged Jones Nickolds to support me through a divorce and worked primarily with Gemma throughout the process. This recommendation came from a friend who also had used Jones Nickolds previously. James was also involved later into the process and had positive engagement with his support. While the process was traumatic, I found the level of knowledge and understanding in divorce process to be what was needed to reach a fair and balanced outcome. In all parts of the process Gemma provided solid & clear advice and importantly did not set expectations that were unreasonable - it was clear what was the best-case outcome and this is what was eventually achieved. I would recommend Jones Nickolds for handling of divorce matters and while I don't want to use their (divorce) services again, I felt looked after and my needs understood through the whole process.
