Really disappointing experience - would advise looking elsewhere for a house/building survey. Jones’s full building ‘level 3’ house survey report missed a visible structural defect. We only discovered this after completion and it cost over twice the cost of the survey to fix. Client aftercare and complaints investigation process incredibly poor. We made a mistake and trusted Jones to deliver a quality service, but what we received and our experience was quite different to what their website promises. Update following Jones’s response: - Jones’s treatment of and communication with us during the complaints process was condescending, confusing, and disrespectful. - The Ombudsman identified ‘failure to note deterioration’, on which they would have ‘expected some comment’. - The compensation offered was derisory relative to the total cost of the ‘full’ survey and fixing the defect (in the £‘000s).

Excellent service!!! I contacted Jones Surveyors to complete a survey of a property and I was really impressed with the level of detail and thoroughness. Bill completed the survey and gave me an honest appraisal of the property, identifying potential issues, spending time afterwards to talk me through the findings. He was helpful, friendly and extremely knowledgeable and I couldn’t recommend him and Jones Surveyors enough. I will certainly be using them again. Highly recommended!

Kerry is super friendly and very organized. She walks you through different services and associated costs and is always available to talk. James is such a great professional! He called me right after the inspection to give me a summary of his findings and answers some of my initial questions and concerns. His report was great and very thorough. After reading his report, I called him and he spent an hour to answer all my questions about the report and also gave me extra tips on the maintenance, etc. Overall, a top notch service customized to your needs and a great company! I can not recommend the team at Jones Associates enough. Kerry was a dream to deal with and helped me organise an urgent RICS valuation of my property within 24 hours of me making the call. What's more - it is clear the whole team is a well oiled machine, as I explained to Kerry that the survey was urgent, and it took less than 24 hours after the survey was done for me to get my report. With the recent increase in energy prices I decided to find ways to reduce my energy waste. Having recently been referred to Jones Surveyor who undertake Thermal Imaging surveys, I decided to go ahead and book a survey to understand where the energy waste was emitting from in my house. I was visited by James, who explained the process and what to expect from the report which I received a few days later. The report was comprehensive and included details and photographs showing observations internally and externally with the all important recommendations. I have to say the whole process from booking the survey to receiving the report was amazing, totally professional. I now have an action plan to make improvements to my home to help reduce my energy wastage and save some £’s. Highly recommended and thanks to James and all involved.
