Went out for drinks and some food for mums birthday. At first one of the bar staff warned us the wait would be an hour which was fine. After 1hr 20mins we inquired ab our food and we were told 15 more mins. We waited 20 more mins until we inquired again, the manager then told us they can’t even give us a time as to when our food would be done. In the 2 hrs we were there I witnessed ab 3-4 ppl complaining ab the wait for the food. Our tab was shut when we decided to leave so im pretty sure we didn’t get charged for the drinks. Not the bar staffs fault at all, they were very friendly, no complaints there, but please get some more competent kitchen staff.

This has been recently refurbished so is looking really good. Outside areas are great with outdoor heating and big screens. Service is good and we had a lovely meal. Really would recommend this pub.

NOW OPEN FOR BREAKFAST! Saturday and Sundays from 10am Back open and back to its best!! Stylish refurbishment which quite easily makes it the best pub in the area. Tv's are everywhere ! 3 in the garden and 1 in the new smoking area. Toilet locations have changed and look amazing compared to before. Also a number of new advents though out the week. Menus the same with some great deals! and staff are still the same excellent bar crew and amazing kitchen team, with a couple of new editions! We have lost the Stella and Amstel though and prices have increased but I'm sure we can all handle that to have such a lovely local pub again.
