Wonderful experience. I had low expectations for this place as thought it was going to just be a pretty restaurant with expensive food but the food was really delicious, portions are a good size, we had 3 small plates and 2 large plates and were VERY full. Service was great, everyone very friendly. Atmosphere great. They also somehow knew it was my bday and I got a little treat at the end, lovely touch. Lift access still an issue - the doorman pointed out the lifts but didn’t mention that we’d need someone to tap us in. There was two doormen so maybe one of them could escort restaurant guests to the lift? I had read reviews (most reviews mention this) so we just had a laugh when we got stuck in a closed lift! Easy solution to sort out I’d think. Anyhow wonderful place for special occasions!
