This company was sent to repair problem had with heating and hot water. Came out needed part, part ordered, came out wrong part. Several weeks later came out now needed another part as well as original part. Fixed hot water and left without heating weekend when temperatures -1. Problem worse than when they arrived. Another call out problem still not fixed now left also with leaking radiator. Eventually after complaining another came fixed heating problem within 15 minutes , left returned with part. Job done. Please if through any service policy this company is recommended for visit especially for elderly living on own, or disabled person please say no.

Johnston Scotia have done considerable remedial work via our insurance company to correct a boiler installation by another installer. It's been a very long saga and not without problems, delays and miscommunication along the way. But it's finally done and the hero of the saga has been Johnston Scotia's engineer, Constantin Lucian Brojbn, known as Luca. When he first came to view the considerable installation problems it was clear that he was a consummate professional. We insisted on him doing the work at every step. He was always on time; assessed the problems as they arose; explained clearly what he was doing and why, and worked hard to rectify everything. Johnston Scotia were easy to contact and were apologetic when communication didn't run smoothly. But the main reason for this review is to thank Luca for his brilliant work. We are hugely thankful.

We reported a broken radiator valve to the office. The response was extremely rapid, a photo of the necessary replacement was taken and within days an engineer arrived to replace it. This task was carried out swiftly as were the necessary checks to the central heating system. Useful additional advice was provided by the helpful young engineer. Excellent service - as has been all the other support we've needed from Johnson Scotia!
