Booked an appointment with a motability specialist on 1 Nov to discuss a Kodiaq and have a test drive, today, 17 November. When we got there this morning not only were they not expecting me but no motability specialist in sight. We did test drive a Kodiaq, and asked the salesman questions, but not being the motability expert he couldn’t answer some key questions. We will not be going back.

The worst customer service I have ever received from a car dealership. The service manager cannot keep his word on simple promises such as call backs and timings of when my car would be fixed. If you call and leave a message he often fails to return your call. Furthermore, when he does finally return your call (days later, and after several prompting calls to the branch) he speaks very unprofessionally and complains about being overworked. After my car was serviced by them in June 2022, it was returned to me with a lane assist error warning light. On recontacting the branch, the service manager informed me on two separate occasions I had crashed my car which had caused the error; and I was therefore liable for the cost of having the issue fixed. I Informed him that this was untrue, which resulted in a lot of back and forth between us, which led to him becoming more and more abrupt with me. On one occasion I had the manager screaming and shouting at me down the phone, stating that the issue was my fault as he had proof. It was only when I became emotionally upset and asked to speak to someone senior as I felt his behaviour was intimidating, the issue was correctly investigated and my car moved to another branch for further diagnostic work. When my car was finally returned, I was informed that I did not cause the issue, however the issue was caused by a system error which was out of my control. Additionally when my car was returned it had a tyre puncture which would’ve been obvious to them as the warning light was on. I decided after all of the hassle to have the tyre fixed independently as I didn’t feel comfortable recontacting them regarding another issue, given the managers previous behaviour towards me. I never received an apology for the accusations that were made, or for the time it took to have this issue resolved. The issue was finally resolved in October 2022. It took 4 months to have this resolved. It involved lots of phone calls, time and emotional distress. I would avoid this dealership at all cost. I have previously dealt with other Skoda dealerships and never had any issues.
