Having taken delivery of my used XC40 from Solihull, I noticed a stone chip in the windscreen. I raised it with Johnsons and they arranged for a replacement windscreen to be fitted and let me have a courtesy car for the day. No fee, no quibble.. perfect!

I've had some dreadful experiences of purchasing cars over the past 40 years, and when I decided to purchase a Volvo, I did my research and Johnsons came out as top on customer experience. Johnson exceeded their reviews, and Lynn Cook is the most professional, diligent and lovely human being, and if other car dealers read this, then they need to employ her as a trainer. It was a relief to deal with someone who was incredibly informed, humble with absolutely no ego, and a thoroughly nice person. When I collected my vehicle, I had a lovely young gentleman who set up the technology in the vehicle and was not left to sort it out at home, as happened on previous purchases. My insurance company was on the first phone call, a jobsworth. I contacted Des at Johnsons, and he very quickly offered to speak to my insurance company. Fortunately on the next call to the insurance company, I had someone slightly more competent. I've since had contact with Johnsons asking me whether I had any issues with the vehicle, and did I need any help. I've never had this level of service when I've purchased a vehicle. Lynn is awesome, and had she lived closer, I would have kept in touch as friends. I can't speak too highly of this firm or Lynn. Xx P.S. The volvo is amazing, and Lynn, I still haven't found the mileage... my incompetence, and I haven't looked online like I should have done!
