Learnt guitar from John for many years when I was younger. Always found him to be a great teacher, very patient and has an ability to push you to be the best you can be. Had the pleasure of doing concerts with his band, which does wonders for you confidence as a player. Even during summers, when I never had much to do, John offered to give me extra free lessons during the week, which I took up and thought were an amazing guesture from him! Don't feel the negative reviews are fair whatsoever. Probably just over zealous parents. Learning a musical instrument requires dedication and a requirement to push yourself! As an former pupil, he's an excellent teacher and a very nice man!
