A truly amazing place that has made bells for all parts of the World. Like stepping back in time as a building and bell making . Fantastic dedicated staff and able to witness a working foundry not a sterile, polished museum. An experience l will never forget.

What a fascinating museum and tour! We booked onto an afternoon tour of this historical building which still makes bells that are sent all over the world. The local guide was a bell ringer himself and very knowledgeable. He gave us so much information and answered every question. You can feel the pride that the Museum Trust and its workers have in this Museum. It’s closing for renovation in 6 months or so, so go now. They cast bells on a Thursday so that might be a better day to go-we saw the foundry and watched a film on how casting is done, but to see the real thing would be even better. thoroughly recommended.
