I have the great pleasure of writing this review of my wonderful experience with the John Pacey Lowrie practice I attended in Nottingham.I contacted the practice and asked is there anything they possibly could do for me as I had two scleral shell made before and I was not happy with the outcome.I received a phone call from Sean the ocularists who give me great encouragement that this would be the practice for me.I still can’t believe that Sean has created the prosthetic the way he has I can’t even tell the difference when I have it in,I can’t thank the John Pacy Lowry practice enough for the way they treated me from start to finish,and finally to Sean thank you from the bottom of my heart for giving me my the confidence of felling normal again.

I visited John and his team in April. After looking at their website I decided to give them a call and immediately after speaking to John I felt at ease and made an appointment The best decision I have ever made!! My friend and I visited the clinic and had a lovely warm welcome from all the team . They made my lovely new eye and gave me my confidence back .my face actully looks alive again .i can definetly recommend John and Shaun .they are a remarkable team .

Last week I had my first brand new eye for 20 years. Previously I had to go to Southampton and the eye was actually made in Blackpool which caused all sorts of problems on colour match. Now John and his team regularly visit Jersey and the whole procedure from taking the mould to walking out with a brand new sparkler takes just 3 sessions, the longest of which is just 2 hours when the mould is taken. I was seen by Sean who has been with John for over a year now. He was very friendly, skilful and efficient. He did an amazing job and I found the whole process so interesting that time flew by. John came in on the final session when I received the finished article. I am delighted with my new eye which is very comfortable and I will have a follow up session in a few months to check all is well. I am 100% sure it will be. These guys are top quality and deserve all credit for the service they give. I am currently working out how to attach my old eye to the top of the Christmas tree!
