He was absolutely fantastic on the day, very present and attentive without being overbearing or overly-directive. He let us remain natural whilst being magnificently able to capture every cheeky laugh, snazzy dance move or fun group interaction. He let us take the day as we wanted, was incredibly patient with the children in our group photos, and made us feel completely at ease. We have now witnessed John's magic at work in two of our children's weddings, and on both occasions he proved himself a master of his profession. Just as he promised, he was discreet and utterly respectful of the nature of the event, but sudceeded in capturing the range of experiences and emotions at both weddings with breathtaking skill. The pictures he produced are technically superb, but above all they are beautiful and authentic, with a natural ease and grace that renders them deeply satisfying. His eye for composition is matched by his talent in compiling and editing video recordings which mix still images with music and excerpts from wedding speeches. Like a great film, you can watch these little masterpieces over and over again, always discovering new treats. John was a delight to meet and talk with, and I could not recommend him more highly!

Choosing a wedding photographer is no easy challenge however, we knew that we wanted natural photos and after meeting John and instantly clicking, we knew that he would be perfect for our day. We were not wrong... John was a pleasure to have at our wedding - most of the time you did not know he was there but those who did notice him had nothing but kind words to say! As for the photos, we were blown away. John has a fantastic ability to capture those special 'moments' and the atmosphere of the day, that make you want to relive it over and over again. As for the Still Film - we are so pleased to have added this in at the last minute. We love the photos, but seeing them stitched together to music, with parts of the vows and speeches over the top is something we will truly treasure forever. John shot our wedding video having been recommended by our photographer and we are so grateful for the recommendation! We didn’t think we were bothered about video footage being captured of our day but now we have a video, we were very wrong. We hardly knew John was there and definitely didn’t feel like we were being “watched” or recorded which has made for excellent records of a lovely memories. Snapshots of speeches, the first dance and our guests enjoying the day have all been rounded up in an easy to share video. We are delighted with the final product but it wouldn’t have been possible without John’s subtle presence, humour and genuine care and love for what he is doing. Thank you John for creating an amazing video that we will treasure forever!
