My parents won a photo session with John at a school fund raising evening and generously gave it to my husband and I. We booked a date for the shoot. Our son is very timid, so John was quite happy to come to my parents home to take the pictures. This is somewhere our son knows well, so we knew he would be more settled there then a location he didn’t know. When John arrived he made everyone feel at home and then he had a look around the property searching for suitable places for the pictures. Sites found we started to have the photos taken. John made everyone feel really relaxed he was fantastic with our son. We now have some amazing pictures and we now also know of a fabulous and extremely talented photographer who we would all recommend. Thank you John for a lovely afternoon. 😁👍

We spent a morning with John at Newby Hall to get some family photographs with our daughter (2½). John was fun and engaging to work with – he brought lots of child friendly props and directed us to places where we might get some really nice shots. He was easy and relaxed to spend time with, clearly knew the location, and the resulting photgraphs are natural and stunning. John has a brilliant eye for photography and has a way of catching the spirit of a situation or person which is just beautiful. We ended up with a collection of family photographs which really make us smile – some lovely shots of us all laughing together, some of our little girl peeping from behind some pillars and others with her chasing bubbles or running as though we aren’t watching. We would not hesitate to use John again for any photography and I would recommend him very highly!
