Named after the dogged Parliamentary and social reformist and erected in 1831 on the former Burton Crescent. Veteran London Plane trees along the perimeter, lawned patches, pathways and renovated tennis courts forming a geometric pattern complete the snuggle here. The original Georgian terraces (circa 1809/11) converted to hotels compose on the western crescent. Pleasant enough here.
