Did a 2h throwing taster session with a friend, we had an amazing time. The small class size was so beneficial and we felt that this really enabled us to get the most out of the session, and was actually what attracted us to booking this particular throwing class in the first place. The session layout was well designed and Jo was an excellent teacher, she explained things incredibly well and was very patient with us. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting a taste of throwing, we had such a great time!

I did a short beginner’s pottery course at Jo’s studio and then, after lockdown 1.0, another 8 week course. The teachers were great (particularly Adele!) but communication with the studio could be improved in some areas - it would really help to receive some notifications about changes to pick up dates of ready work

I've been throwing porcelain for a couple of years and have found Jo's 1:1 sessions very useful in helping me clean up my technique and better understand both the limitations and potentials of the material. I leave every class a better, and more confidant, potter than I enter.
