Felt very clicky and like I was in the way. Was with someone else who was also new and they got lots of praise but I was told I was not good at all. Very disheartening and no wonder so many people are put off from doing this sort of stuff. Felt humiliated and really did destroy my confidence. Didn't feel welcome at all. The members seemed like they were always trying to make a point about how good they are, exploiting the fact that I am new and taking advantage of me. I was also picked on a lot which was most definitely intentional and felt really uncomfortable like I was under a lot of pressure from the teachers and members. Taking the whole throwing someone in the deep end idea to the extreme. Not a pleasant experience at all.
