We used this place to cater a house moving party when I didn't want to cook. I went in after I saw it mentioned on Plumstead People Facebook group as the best samosas around. Ajit was really helpful and gave me his mobile number to text discuss numbers and food packages. I added 5 people last minute and they accommodated that. You can opt for halal or non-halal. We got 2 samosa per person + chutney, Pilau rice, Chicken curry, Daal, Naan and raita (yoghurt) and salad. I picked it up on the day and parked outside and the person brought it to my car, everything wrapped well in cling film in metal trays or plastic large tupperware. Everyone loved the food. The samosas and chutney, daal and pilau were really tasty. I was worried people would say it wasn't as good as home cooked but everyone said it was nice and ate loads. Portion sizes were good except for the rice. We ended up cooking white rice. No one ate the naan though, so next time I would ask for full portion rice and no naan. Will definitely get their samosas again for parties.

We were recommended Jhas caterers by Crawley Gurdwara for the funeral of my grandmother. Uncle Jhas was really helpful answering any queries and also was happy to cater to a fully vegan lunch as well as sweet boxes to give as gifts. On the day of the funeral I was really pleased that all went smoothly and food was delivered as promised, I was a little nervous as we’d never used Jhas caterers before but there was no need to worry. I highly recommend Jhas caterers, delicious food, worked with me regarding costs and delivered as promised. All attendees to the funeral were happy with their meal, especially the vegan kheer made with oat milk. I can’t thank them enough to help make an emotional day a little easier.
