Jerk House is the most expensive in Huddersfield and in fact keeps going up in price I’ve noticed. Usually, I don’t mind the high price as the food was so authentic and flavoursome when first opening. But it is clear as day the food quality and ingredients have dropped and changed 1000%. Even my friend said “this ain’t tasting the same yano” and he said exactly what I was thinking. Not sure if it’s still the same ownership, original recipe or a new chef. But I’m telling you right now that it’s gone from a premium to bang average and the curried goat was just so so so dry. I have to be honest when I’m paying these prices sorry.

Just had another amazing meal from Jerk House. This honestly has the best flavours, perfect level of heat on the expertly seasoned chicken and the sides are just as good. The standard never changes and if you haven’t tried this you’re missing a treat!
