This may seem like an out of date review given that we had aluminium double glazed windows in timber frames installed by Jennyfields in the summer of 2014. However, after much back and forth with Jennyfields over the years regarding numerous unresolved issues with our windows, I am writing this review now as it is largely the dealings with issues post installation where companies like this earn their hard earned reputations or they fall down. Jennyfields are very much in the latter. The installation itself seemed to go well and the installation of twelve aluminium double glazed units into five new timber frames was completed in two days. Although, some of the internal rubber gaskets / seals (?) had been cut short, so they return to replace these. This was as good as it got I'm afraid as, around a year in a number of the double glazed units failed with condensation / misting appearing in several panels. To be fair, Jennyfields did deal with these fairly quickly and came out and replaced them. However, when some of these replacement panels started to fail too, our patience started to wear thin. We also started, and continue to have issues with water dripping onto window sills from joints in the timber frames in all new replacement windows. This occurred when we had any rain of note. Initially Jennyfields were interested in sorting the water ingress issue and sent someone out at various stages to look at the issues whilst replacing the failed glass units. I believe this involved replacement of a couple of hinges and the liberal application of sealant (!) in certain areas, but these remedial fixes have failed miserably. Once Jennyfields realised that this wasn't going to be a quick / easy fix their interest started to wane as they steadily reduced contact and failed to respond to emails and voicemails. It got to a point where I sent them a letter threatening legal action in the hope that this would get them to show more interest to fix the issues. But, no, no response received and unfortunately we are not in a position financially to take them to court. So in summary, of the five timber frames installed by Jennyfields four leak on a regular basis and have done since around 2016. Of the twelve double glazed units installed, at least half of them have failed (a few replaced have also failed!). The initial sales pitch by Tony Rix , testimonials and examples of work suggest a quality product and professional set up. However, once you start having problems with their products (and you will!) their interest in you as a customer tails off rapidly! We are not alone - look at other reviews. We would never use Jennyfields again. Having read this review, if you are in any doubt about using Jennyfields, then walk away and go elsewhere. Service: Window installation

Living in a 100 year old Cottage I still had the original 1920's single glazed Crittall metal frames to the front of the property. I looked long and hard at who had the ability to design an 'almost replica' in modern double glazed white Aluminium. I eventually came across Jennyfields near Farnham here in Surrey. I visited their premises to check for myself...they were very open and showed me their designs..including the 'putty line' additions to mimic the original. I was pleased to trust in their ability enough to place my order... and the end result was extremely satisfactory! Cannot speak too highly about their installation team....this was not an 'easy fit' but they were brilliant! Before retiring some 18 years ago I ran my own window company and therefore feel able to comment from my own experiences.....I would recommend Jennyfields upon my personal experience.
