Not sure why... I wanted some sparkling water, so I asked twice if the only water they had from the fridge was sparkling. They ensured me it was while it was not. Not a major thing (hence two instead of one star), but still disappointing. And I want to assume it was not intentional, just a genuine mistake.

Nicest fish & chips in york, sit in and eat them at no extra cost, free sauces none of those tear plastic sachets!. Big size potions freshly cooked, highly recommend 😉👍 19.05.23 Sat in ate lovely cod and chips really enjoyed it 😋 👍🏻

Have had Jenny's a few times now and each time has always been lovely. Food is always delivered hot and quickly and you definitely get your moneys worth! I had my last delivery within 15 minutes of ordering - highly recommend this Fish and Chip shop, definitely one of the best in York!

Eaten here twice now and if my body could take it I’d eat here every day. Me and a friend popped in for the best cod and chips in York. These guys KNOW how to do the best F&C. Perfect batter, big portions, perfect chips (not soggy at all) and all cooked fresh. Lovely staff. Opposite a great pub Rook & Gaskill to boot! I’ve not tasted better in York. You can eat your takeaway inside at their window seats too. Thanks very much Jenny’s!
