  Jeni's Cakes & Flowers were, without doubt, one of the best suppliers we hired for our wedding. I only ever communicated with Jeni by email, except for one phone call at the very beginning, but the communication was so thorough, to the very last detail, and everything was done exactly to my wishes, with the end result being simply perfect. The wedding cake was made exactly to my design and requirements, from matching the colour of the icing to the ribbon I wanted to use, to the lace effect detailing and an intricate peacock draping down the side. I had a combination of traditional fruit cake and flavoured sponges for the 3 tiers, with a large variety of flavours to choose from. I had also asked for some cupcakes for the children where handmade toppers were added to these, just as I asked for, to match the peacock theme and the flowers. Gluten free cakes were also made for a few of our guests who were coeliac. Jeni even improvised at last minute when my personalised topper hadn't arrived in time, where she quickly made a flower decoration to sit on the top instead, on the very morning of the wedding! The flower arrangements were breathtakingly beautiful and the photos really do not do them justice. I had wanted a very specific shade of magenta pink flowers to match the men's ties, as well as blues and greens for the peacock theme. Jeni sourced everything and couldn't have done them all more perfectly in terms of colour and design. She even sprayed gypsophila to add the turquoise blue I wanted. The large arrangements were absolutely incredible and the smaller ones matched perfectly. The long garland was fabulous for the head table. I asked for different sized hand bouquets for me, my Maid of Honour, the Bridesmaid and the Flower Girl, as well as flowers for the men's buttonholes, and Jeni did all of these exactly as I expected and wanted. So many guests commented on how vibrant and beautiful the flowers were and they just loved the colours. The flowers really brought the whole colour scheme together and the photos of the bridal party with the flowers are simply stunning and have completely reflected what I had always imagined and dreamed of for our wedding. The flowers were also of very high quality, since they lasted for such a long time after the wedding. Nothing I asked of Jeni was ever too much and she was so friendly and easy to communicate with throughout. She related so well to exactly what I had in my mind and she completely pulled it off in terms of making it a reality. I literally cannot fault anything at all. It's no wonder she is a recommended supplier of the venue we chose and I would personally 100% recommend her myself to anyone. I almost want to plan another event just to be able to use her again! Thanks so much, Jeni, for making everything so perfect for our special day and for being such a wonderful supplier to work with in every way. And apologies for taking so long after the wedding to write this review!

  Jeni provided the cake and decor for my wedding day at Farnham House Hotel. Having organised four wedding events, including a traditional English Wedding Ceremony and a traditional Indian Wedding with all the trimmings, I can honestly say that Jeni was the best supplier I used across all of the events. I provided her with very minimal instructions and she absolutely hit the nail on the head. Everything from the flowers to the table centrepieces, to the bouquets were spot on. I was slightly nervous before that I had not given enough instruction on the exact shades of flowers, or exactly what I wanted as the table centrepieces - how wrong I was! I walked in and it was literally like Jeni had seen the image I had in my mind and created it right there before my eyes. She also somehow managed to pull off the impossible - despite warning me that the weather forecast was looking very poor and that we should set up for an indoor ceremony because she could not bring all of the decorations inside at the last minute, I insisted that she set up for an outdoor ceremony. I was adamant that I wanted the outdoor wedding of my dreams. It was a sunny August day, we had our wedding photos outside in this beautiful set up and then 15 minutes (literally) before our ceremony, we saw thunder and lightning and it began hailing! Somehow, Jeni managed to create a beautiful indoor ceremony look within the space of 15 minutes - to this day, I have absolutely no idea how she did it. We continue to receive compliments on the cake over 6 months later - my uncle refers to it as "that amazing flake cake"! I must admit, I was a bit sad that there was absolutely no cake left at the end of the night as our guests had eaten all 90 portions! Thank you Jeni for doing such a wonderful job, I am ever so grateful to you for making our wedding day run so smoothly and look so beautiful.
