Horrendous experience. The car was misdescribed as it had been heavily modified to the point that it was virtually uninsurable for an 18yr old (bodykit, upgraded wheels, headlights, exhaust and induction kit!!). They were well aware of this as the salesman said "watch out, its loud" when we viewed it!! This resulted in a wasted 3hr round trip and the associated costs. Also, due to the distance, I paid the £250 reservation after confirming that it would be returned without issue within 5 working days if we didn't proceed. Obviously we couldn't proceed due to the unadvertised modifications so I requested that the £250 be returned, there was no apology for the inconvenience. After 5 working days I hadn't had my refund so I called the branch. The salesman could not have been less interested and said that the refund had been processed and the issue was with my bank. I called the bank, there was no transaction, so I called back to be told that it had been done and would hit my account on the following Wednesday. Then I got a call a day later to say that it was their error and it had not been done!! After 10days, multiple calls and a threat of issuing a section 75 claim, I got my money back. The service was well below what I would expect from a backstreet garage let alone a company like JCT600. I certainly would not return, one mistake is bad, but they seem to be incompetent and simply fob blame off and have the "not my job" mantra (as of the start of the week the car was still being misadvertised but the salesman I spoke said "that's not part of my job"!!). The manager I spoke to 100% backed his staff and wasn't really interested in the details, I was happy to just get my money back and forget the whole experience.
