    I'm writing as a tenant of a flat that has the property manager as JCF, their level of communication has been shocking. There have been a couple of issues with the flat which need to be resolved. 1st Issue - one a small leak in the roof, they have failed to reply directly to multiple emails and phone calls when trying to get an update as to what is happening and when it is going to be fixed (only to be told finally it will be tomorrow morning despite knowing that the forecast was -1C and was told the original delay was that it had to be +5C for it to happen - the work didn't happen that day and wasn't informed) - Issue wasn't resolved for over 8 weeks. 2nd Issue - Issue with bike storage, legally informed to move bikes that were stored in special bike racks in a corridor with two weeks notice, questioned the fact that moving them to where they suggested would be an issue. No reply, only via landlady and was told that we didn't need to move them, and it would be would be confirmed via email from the JCF still no email. Whilst I understand that JCF will have to act under the instructions of the freeholders, they could at least make a vague attempt to actually do the job they are paid to and communicate what is happening.

    I had a really positive experience renting a flat which was managed by JCF. They were very responsive, dealt with issues quickly (our fridge broke & a new one was ordered straight away) and they always gave plenty of notice of any maintenance work / boiler services etc. Would recommend them very highly

    JFC is meant to manage my building. I reported a leak and damp in the summer and it took them over 4 months to get anything done. Trying to reach the person in charge of the building is impossible. Even when you call the office they are not able to return calls. I was told that they were busy working and had not time to answer me, as if no one else has a job and they were doing me a favour by talking to me. Unimpressed with the service and it is definitely not worth what they charge. Thought I would update this as the saga continues. Not only was I told when I flagged the damp problem had returned, that it was not possible it must be expansion and contraction of the wall due to temperature changes, but I have now waited over a year to have the issue looked at and it is still not even close to resolved. This management company is only good at sending invoices and never actually fixing problems in a timely manner. All I have had is a myriad of excuses. They are absolutely appalling.

    JCF are an appalling management company who have no regard for employees who work on the estates they manage. 'This company deducts pension payments from employees pay and doesn't pay them over to the pension fund. For 5 months now employees have had their pensions deducted from their salaries and this money has still not been paid over which is totally illegal. They have been reported to the pension regulator a number of times now, their incredibly incompetent excuse is a problem with the direct debit. Simply not good enough, I am hoping that this review will shame you into insuring that you pay the pension payments over immediately and without any further ridiculous excuses.
