It is now 06/05/2022 JC Accident Repair was assigned a repair to a motability vehicle on 18th April via MRN - they accepted that assignment/repair as is written on the continuous messenger service 'activategroup' to all concerned. I sent weekly messages for a update, and no reply, I phoned up today for the first time for a update of progress/ any date to bring in, just so we can work round ours and their daily responsibilties/dates. I did not mind what date they would give me even if in a few months time, just so we knew. The answer from a Chloe was, they are chockerblock and could not do it, I stress the situtation as above, and why have the garage not responded sooner so that MRN and our Insurance could arrange/source another garage, her answer "They only just received the job" which was rubbish to which I stressed to her, she basically lied to me on the phone when it was registered on the system of when the garage received that message. I then phoned MRN and they just received as I was talking to him the garages rejection of job. I am aware everyone is busy due to lack of resorces and fewer staff to all due to Covid, but, organisation is a wonderful thing, plan in the old diary and print on a wall board so all can see their jobs for the follwing month. I am also aware of receiving parts late, again, just let the customer know of your plight and they will listen, either wait or try another garage. Basically, my repair job was left in a tray/waiting pool system, and if I had not have phoned, it would still be there the next week and so on... A bad experience for me!!!

Don’t seem to know what they’re doing with cars which isn’t the best start. Been told that taking my car in for a small dent to the bumper after rolling (hardly moving being the key point here) into another vehicle, they said my car could be in for months or more because there is most likely lots of damage under the bumper that has to be repaired. After informing JC that I have already had the damage looked at and it is nothing more than a dent, the woman on the phone got weirdly angry telling me they aren’t going to touch the car if it has already been touched (a visual inspection doesn’t generally involve hands?) and telling me that if I seem to know so much about the repair by having it looked at already, they don’t want to ‘waste their time’ quoting it (essentially they know they can’t rip me off with ‘extra work’) Overall wouldn't touch this company if you paid me, horrible attitude to customers, aggressive over the phone and after reading the reviews about paintwork peeling off and cars being used for personal use whilst in their care I’m glad the work didn’t go ahead.
