Bought a 2017 Transit in October 2022 from JB Motors. They refused to deliver the truck to me (approximately 200 miles) despite plastering all over their website that they will. I was forced to pick the vehicle up myself, no compensation given - not even half a tank of fuel. I was given a 3000 mile/3 month warranty and I was assured that the vehicle was in good working order (a test drive was refused by them), with the lack of any service history proving otherwise, I was foolish enough to believe the sales rep. The truck magically developed a whole range of issues just after 3000 miles and I've been forced to spend ~£5k on correcting those problems. The garage that I took the truck to have told me that these were long existing issues and it should never have passed an MOT. However it now looks like the truck needs an entirely new engine at an unknown cost, at 83,000 miles I find this insane. The finance company is unwilling to help in any way so I may be left paying off a vehicle that sits and rots on my driveway. Don't touch this company with a barge pole. Would give 0 stars if possible.

I purchased van from here back in lockdown, firstly I was impressed with how nice and tidy they looked online but I know looks can be deceiving so I ventured up and met John, to be honest he didn’t have a bad van on the forecourt but I had a budget to stick to, he was reluctant to haggle with me but he was nice enough to take some money off and I left I happy man, he gave me a pretty penny for my old van what I considered to be a hunk of junk. About 5-6 months later my alarm was playing up it was going off constantly and waking the street I called John after a few days i I was expecting a typical no like you get from most dealers but John had me drive up and had one of the team strip it out, he then booked me in to gosport dragon alarms as I live in Pompey and he was in ringwood he was even kind enough to book me into a place more convenient for me, I had the whole new alarm fitted and it’s been amazing. The only reason I’m writing this is after 3-4 years nearly I’ve had a call off the team telling me they found a spare key and are posting it out to me this key could of easily been thrown in the bin but these boys don’t do business like that, I should of wrote a review years back after the alarm but hey this is it now Five stars for me very polite no talking waffle or tricks just straight up car dealers I’m constantly telling people to go up and check them out Thanks John, Andrew & Luke for the key and keep up the good work obviously when the time comes I’ll be back for another one 🚐

Very pleased with my new vehicle that I purchased from John. Also very happy with the customer service and vehicle cleaning and prep that John and his team carried out. There were a couple of items that were broken and needed replacing on the vehicle that John did not have in stock at the time due to the mail/ shipping delays. John went out of his way to collect the parts, deliver and install the parts to my Mercedes and would certainly use JB Motor Company again or even recommend them to who ever is looking to purchase a vehicle and get 10/10 service along the way.
