Jason is a fantastic teacher. He is organised, patient, dedicated and places particular emphasis on theory and focused practice. Not only is he a great player himself, he also has a natural ability to breakdown the elements of playing, including (sometimes) complicated theory, so that it is practical and applicable. His teaching has improved my playing and understanding of the theory of music immeasurably. If it weren't for him I would still be stuck at the same level, bumbling around the guitar having no idea what I was playing. Jason is also a really great guy, with a brilliant sense of humour and his lessons are always a highlight of my week.

I sat in my daughter’s lessons as she was a minor and observed the lessons for years. Jason is a fantastic teacher. His lessons consisted of theories and practicals. He is patient and explain things very well. Importantly he has a good sense of humour so you don’t ever get bored in the lessons. Out of all the music teachers (piano, violin, cello) that my children and I had he is the best one. If I were to learn guitar I would have him as my teacher. I have recommended him to my friends’ children. Thank you Jason for all you time and effort.

Jason Brown is a fabulous guitar teacher. I have been a student of his for over 10 years and my playing has improved exponentially over this time. Jason tailors his lessons for musicians of all skill levels - from beginners to advanced. The main difference between Jason and the vast majority of other guitar teachers is that Jason will not just teach students to 'learn to play a song', but he provides the tools to allow his students be able to ultimately play any song by developing an understanding and ownership of the technical and theoretical components of guitar playing. Can highly recommend.

I started lessons with Jason 9 months ago now. I'd played on and off for a few years just teaching myself from YouTube videos but never made much progress. Jason lessons are really engaging and structured and my playing has really come on great since I starting with him. He breaks down all aspects of playing so that you can work on and improve all the different techniques. Jason keeps the lessons really fun and interesting, and motivates you to keep getting better. And to top it off he's a great guy. Couldn't recommend him enough.
