We visited the soft lauch of the new delicatessen and wine bar in the lower floor, it looks amazing but was fully booked so we had lunch in the smaller, original one. Lovely selection of platters, we had a pork pie platter and a quiche platter and shared, it was fab, with bread and oils, chutney and a rocket salad (a lack of dressing) We washed it down with a fine Pinot Grigio blush. A lovely experience

Mixed experience... When printing some infographics for our wedding they cut them all very wonky and weird, ended up going to a local service who kindly corrected the issue and trimmed them the best they could for free. As the order had been wonky though they struggled to make them all match but certainly will not be using Jarrolds again in future, expensive and butchered them anyway. The issue seems to be they cannot print in A5 which is odd in itself for a printing shop so you are relying on the skill of the individual staff member to cut appropriately. ...as a side note the first time we used their service for our invitations and RSVPs the service and quality was really good but they did pinch our USB which we never did get it back. The A5 invites and A6 RSVPs were cut well though so it can be done , just depends on who's providing service.

First time in Norwich- had just visited the big shop which was just a lovely experience. I had a tired, hungry one year old while my dinosaur mad four year old marvelled at your dinosaur selection. The cafe staff couldn't have been MORE helpful and even carried my tray over. Then I wandered past the art shop. They gave me fantastic advice which was very much appreciated.

Extremely disappointed... I called on Monday to enquire about size and price of ordnance survey maps for planning and was told that the man was too busy to help with telephone enquiries so I explained that I live 1hr away and she said I'd need to come in to which I replied "OK I will come tomorrow".... I came today only to be told that the man who does the OS maps is off today. Absolute joke and waste of my time. Poor customer service. I will certainly not be using Jarrolds again.
