Brought my Jaguar iPace in for minor body work to its tailgate. Was quoted “not above £500”. I was then told the “badges are quite expensive” which was in the context of how they attributed to the majority of the cost. When I booked it in I was told a firm quote would be emailed to me. That never happened. When I then dropped the car off I explained no quote had been sent. I was finally sent a quote for £787 incl VAT. Naturally I was very surprised and explained the situation and how unacceptable it was that they were going against their word. That was completely in vain. They didn’t care. They said the badges cost a lot and the £500 quote was just for the body work. That was not in line with our original discussions. I told them to not do any work to the car. As pleasant as the sales staff are at this outfit, after sales is just incredibly shocking and their prices are obviously a random number generator. Not to mention they can’t be trusted. Avoid at all costs
