I became obsessed with Japanese food following a trip there over 20 years ago now and started to try cooking some of the dishes at home. Living in Leeds it wasn't easy to get some of the specialist ingredients and for years I could only find them down in London at The Japan Centre. So it was a really welcome surprise that I recently found Japan North in my hometown! I made my first order so I could make some Ramen, Katsu and Donburi dishes and received a very fast reply and collection service. What is even better though is that Japan North are super helpful and spent the time to answer my questions and even source other ingredients and let me know which are authentic Japanese ingredients.
