    Im not one that usually puts good or bad reviews about my experiences, but after seeing how poor these reviews were i thought id share mine at Jap4. I bought some carbon from Gav for my S1KRR and it arrived quickly, for the money i think the weave is nice and glossy. Compared to fullsix and ilmberger i think Gavs Carbon is really great bang for buck. It also fits as it should with tabs and holes. I got my bits within 2 weeks as i think it may have been shelf items which is fine. However i recently ordered some bits for my L7 1000 and they have all unfortunatley been made which is why im still waiting. Its been about 5 weeks, however throughout this time Gav has taken the time to ring me back and answer my messages and also spoke to me about some new items that he will have access to soon. Granted 5 weeks may seem long, but if anyone knows anything about fiberglass, carbon etc..it can be a long process to make. Hence why top carbon fibre manufacturers can take upto 3 months to make. I dont know Gav from adam however i just thought id atleast put an honest review of my previous experience and my current one. Hopefully my bits will be here this week or the next 😀

    Would just like to tell people too think twice before using this company purchased a item at the start of April and still not received, emailed a couple of times and had no reply. Luckily paid via PayPal and raised a case and got a full refund.

    Unfortunately I had one of the worst onli e purchasing experiences ever. I ordered a part and was expecting to wait between 2-3 weeks, however, after numerous different reasons why the part had not arrived I received the part after about 9 weeks. Now, I wasn't bothered waiting, I had to wait 2 months for my new seat from another company but at least they told me that from the start and they responded to my emails which didn't happen with this company. I had so many unanswered emails. When the part arrived I was happy with it but I ordered another carbon part from a different company and received it after 3 days. As I said, I was happy with the Jap4 part and even said if you've got some swing arm covers on the shelf I'll have them. Well he said he was sure he did, he would have a look and get back to me and I've never heard back from him.

    So I thought I would give an honest review on this company. I placed an order at the start of February and thought that the reviews seemed a little harsh, so I’d try them anyway. The first couple of times I couldn’t speak with anyone and answer phone messages were full, so I emailed and Gav did call me back to discuss my order. I was told around 3/4 weeks, which I didn’t mind as I was only getting the bike ready for coming spring. 4 weeks past and nothing, so i I tried calling and couldn’t get through. I sent texts and emails and still no reply, another week went past and a few messages and times trying to get an update, but still nothing, I had to send a short, sharp text and Gav did call me back and explained he had some issues with supplier and had to change to a new one, ok as long as I get my same quality parts I’m happy to wait. All I wanted was to be kept up too date. Another couple of weeks went by with no updates and no carbon arriving, so I cancelled my order Gav gave me a full refund. It’s a shame that this has happened because the product looks good, but I’ll be honest, not really a good way to run a business when you have people willing to pay good money for a product and you don’t keep in stock or can get when orders come in. I would use Gav in the future, but only if the item was on the shelf, but commutation is key and a little message or email when a refund is given to apologise wouldn’t go a miss.
