Janis photographed our wedding last weekend and he was truly incredible. Janis gifted his time completely free of charge to a competition open to key workers during COVID and stayed true to his word. He photographed a 3 day event and was so warm and friendly we were put at ease instantly despite not being the most natural of people in front of the camera. Today we received a preview of some of our photos and we are completely blown away. They are absolutely stunning and tell the story of the day brilliantly from the laughter to the tears. The best photographer you could ask for. Our photographs came out better than we'd ever hoped for. He was so quietly brilliant on the day, I never really noticed where he was at any one point in time, however, when we saw our photos there wasn't a moment he'd missed. He was polite, welcoming and a joy to have at our wedding. We'd actually booked Janis back in 2018 for our original wedding date in 2020. Of course, we all know what happened, but even with the 2 year delay it wasn't a problem for Janis. He reassured us straight away after each rescheduling and we're so happy to have had the privilege of Janis photographing our wedding day.

I could go on and on about how wonderful Janis Ratnieks photography is. First of all, Janis and his wife Inese are so nice and so easy to work with. Janis truly has an eye for how to really capture the moment and Inese does the most beautiful job with color and the retouching. My new husband and I were absolutely blown away by our "sneak peek" of wedding photos. They were so beyond beautiful and will serve as the most amazing way to look back on our special day. We feel so fortunate to have had Janis as our photographer!!!
