We had Andrew from Janet Riley Fabrics come and take measurements for a new house we had just bought. After then visiting the shop for a quotation we placed our order and paid a deposit. A few days later we were advised the cost of what we were after was over £1000 more than originally quoted and was a mistake on their part. We had paid a deposit. No member of JR offered to do the work for the original price, or offered any money off for the mistake. Needless to say we have taken our business elsewhere. Whilst the curtains might be good, the customer service and general shopping experience has been poor.
