Following a terrible experience with F.HIND aim Crawley who kept my watch for 6 weeks and quoted £1,250 to change a Rolex clasp and switch my bezel (using my own bezel) Took my Rolex #16700 to James Stephens in Crawley. Richard hey repaired the clasp and switched the clasp in 45 minutes for £30. They also steam cleaned the watch! Outstanding honest professional customer service provided by James and Asher. I have left them with a platinum wedding ring to polish.

Went in today 25/03/23 to sell a bracelet contains three sovereigns and at least the same weight again in gold, I was offered £1008.00 went to a different shop and offered £1400 that’s a massive difference, James Stephens didn’t even offer what the sovereigns were worth. Avoid selling gold here at all costs. You should be ashamed !

Had the clasp re-brushed on my lovely Oris watch, Have to say it's not the first time I have had watches polished and cleaned with James Stephens, but this time my very precious Oris was left to me by my late best friend, The Ladies that served me were a delight and understand how much this means to me, the level of service is second to none, it took just a few days and has been done to the highest quality, I would have happily paid three times as much, it cost £15 , yes £15! Absolutely brilliant, 1st class service Highly recommended!!

We purchased our wedding bands from James Stephens, other high street stores told us that they wouldn't be able to get the rings for us in time for our wedding as we had under 2 months to go, but it was no problem for James Stephens. We popped in several times to try on different rings and the customer service was always brilliant. They never rushed us or tried to hard sell us. I needed my ring to be resized and polished and they were even able to do it on the same day! Their prices were very reasonable compared to other jewellers we visited as well. Great customer service, would highly recommend!

Brilliant service. Had a silver bangle repaired and polished and bought a silver chain, fabulous job and lovely people. A reminder to me to support the local independent shops, it’s a totally different shopping experience and the price and quality is a pleasant surprise.
