Exceptional coffee and service over many years! I'm a massive coffee geek and occasionally compare beans from other roasteries (even the pretentious hipster stuff which can be over twice the price) but no one can touch the variety, quality, value and consistency from Peter and the James Gourmet team. The flavours, character and surprising notes in the small batch lots from across the coffee world is an adventure and an education in equal measure. The pre-Christmas Winter Hoard special edition is also a highlight of the coffee year :) Many thanks as always!

I have bought remotely, via Website , but 1st class service. The range of teas very good , we been buying from for several years now , their Breakfast tea is delicious. We 1st tasted their tea from a local tea room , they offered a Special Blend , the was 1st class . We now buy it in bulk 3 or 4 times a year . Despite rising prices elsewhere, James's tea prices have remained excellent value , what more can we say.

Fantastic Coffee and very reasonable prices. The Chaplin Blend is an understated gem of an espresso and their single origin coffees are great. If in doubt grab a bag of their one roast coffees that are roasted with both Filter and Espresso brewing in mind.
