The casts we got from Hoyle & Son were superb and look amazing. We live in a conservation area so they had to be perfect and they were. They put us on to Terry and Jim from Victorian Metal Work who fitted the cills and the quality of their work was fantastic also. We would not hesitate to recommend both of these companies for a professional and reliable service.

We used them to do some casting for a product and we didn't have a good experience. The owner was rude at times, They produced our products using Iron with a high carbon content despite knowing we needed as low carbon iron as possible. They broke the mold and didn't bother contacting us to tell us what had happened. We only found out once we contacted them to check on the progress as it got close to the deadline. They finally made a cast using a new mold. But the finnish was poor. Finally they produced the castings. But to a poor standard. Needed a lot of finnishing. Seemed like they didn't like doing a small run. They charged a lot as well and the price seemed a plucked out of the air as they never weighed the final product. Its a shame. They are in a great location and if it had gone well we would have ordered more. The product is now being produced at 1500 a time. But we would never work with them again. We have also heard from other designers since that they have had a poor experiences both with service and quality in the past and since.
