All that glitters is not gold! The staff on the front desk were delightful on my visits to this vet, but the standard of the actually vets varied to an extent that I lost trust. On my last visit the vet contradicted herself in the consultation, was extremely abrupt and almost rude. I not given all the information about the health of my pet. I have since been to another vet and have been told about symptoms my dog was suffering on the visit to Horners which the vet at Horners failed to mention. I would not recommend this vet at all.

James and his team are welcoming, kind and highly qualified. I travel to see him as the care is worth it. They look after my two cats and dog. James listens and asks questions to come up with a plan and the nurses and reception staff are kind and welcoming. My pets are on their wellness subsciption plans and they really work for us. Such a great idea.

Best vet in the area.. The whole team is very passionate for what they are doing and know the know.. We got into a critical situation with one of our cat and since usual vet was not available we made a quick visit and voila.. We now have all our cats registered at James Horner Vets and very relaxed.. We love all our vet trips which is caring for our fur babies and very transparent and competitive in terms of cost. I was recommend James Horner Vets by a friend following a bad experience with another local vets. As soon as I walked through the door for an emergency I knew this place was different, from the reception staff to the nurses to seeing James himself I knew my cat was in the safest of hands. The aftercare following from an emergency operation has been faultless. I was shown in great detail the reason why the procedure which was carried out was done. I have never at any point felt rushed and I’ve never come away doubting any of the staff. Thank you!

This vet is absolutely lovely. I’ve been with them since my first cat & they deal with my dogs perfectly. My dog Loki doesn’t mind going to the vets here and they handle my one with aggression issues perfectly and give her the best treatment. I’d highly recommend this vets as they do care a lot about the pets well-being’s and it’s not too expensive! They also have amazing health plans which help a lot yearly
