Highly recommend James. I’ve used him for nearly 8 years since moving my mare outside of my previous farriers catchment area. I have recommended him to many fellow liveries who then moved to use him. He is busy where he is so popular and always manages to fit us in. My mare had a bad injury in her DDFT, a specialist surgeon said the only way to keep her field sound (let alone in work) is with good farriery. She’s been in full work ever since her rehab thanks to James. He is punctual, attentive and nothing is ever too much trouble (yes I’m one of those who contacts late on a Sunday night worried about my horse). Highly recommend and wouldn’t use anyone else.

Rude to me using WhatsApp when I had just come out of Hospital and had to cancel an appointment. He says he is very busy and said "Had I kept to original appointment, my horses hooves would not start to grow over their shoes, he didn't say sorry at all test he can't fit me in over the next 4 weeks because apparently taken on 40 horses! I didn't want the Farrier until the 18th May onwards as my horses hooves are fine at the moment. Found him arrogant rude and not helpful at all horses
