Excellent service except guy who came round didn't put boiler part back and left us for a month with a loud banging noise as if a train going through the house . They put it right . I will definitely use them again excellent values good old fashioned company as in turn up , send invoices . Not cheap but good .next time I'll request a different guy .he was too busy moaning to concentrate.

Really unhelpful and unprofessional. My 84 year old mother had her boiler serviced and valves on a radiator replaced. No one touched the boiler. When we rang to say there was no heating at the end of November, the woman I spoke to was unhelpful (at best) and rude. The first available date for someone to come and look at it was 19th December. My mum had no heating in zero temperatures. No alternative was offered, at no point did she say she would prioritize the appointment - instead I was told 'I am not a magician, what do you want me to do' What I did was call another local person who came over in 24 hours and flicked the switch that the James Turner staff had not put back after servicing. It also transpires that when they replaced the boiler they used the cheapest possible option with only a 2 year warranty but charged for the upgraded model. This is an appalling company that puts their profits over compassion and care for the customers in the local community. I rarely write negative reviews as a small businesses owner, i know it can have a real impact. But I have been so shocked at the quality of service I want to warn everyone of this awful company Services: Heating system installation, HVAC system maintenance

I had a water softener fitted by these cowboys and I will never use them again nor will I recommend them. After telling me I did not need a mount for my water softener a week later when the guy came to install it (an hour late) he informed me that he could not fit it and had to build a box to support it. A job that should have taken an hour took most of the day. When he finished he was supposed to change the taps in my bathroom and fit a new shower as they felt the water wasn’t hot because of the mixing valves but he told me it was 3 o’clock and home time as he was tired. He reluctantly fitted the shower but said he couldn’t fit the taps because of his disability. That was fine but I had to wait another week for someone else to come and check why the water wasn’t hot. It turns out I never needed the new shower or taps and all that was needed was the blending valve adjusting on the boiler itself. This took the guy minutes. However I was charged an excessive amount and to date do not know exactly what I was charged for as my bill was not itemised in anyway. After speaking with them and asking for a breakdown two weeks later I still haven’t received it. I have paid the bill because I cannot waste anymore time chasing them. They are inefficient and unprofessional. Use them at your peril.

I would totally recommend this company. I had big issues with my water system, my water flow was inconsistent, my downstairs shower was stuck on hot and I had to run all the taps in the house to get hot water. I had several plumbers round and none of them knew how to fix it. Finally I called James Turner and they sent round Adam who didn't give up until he came up with the solution. I had to get a mains pressure water system fitted and it was a really big job. All the work was carried out very professionally, it took Adam and Sean all week and when they left you would never know they had been here, they left everything spotless and I didn't have to tidy up a thing. Really great job!!
