We have been regulars at Jai Ho for over 5 years now, but the prices have become absolutely ridiculous lately. Less than 2 years ago a mushroom rice was £3.75...it is now £5.35! Over £5 for a portion of rice anywhere is just completely laughable. This is just one example, everything has massively inflated beyond anything reasonable lately. You used to get a large pot of mango chutney for 75p...it is now £1 for the tiniest pot imaginable. They also no longer send complimentary mint sauce with the items that they used to provide it with. The food is delicious, I'm not disputing that. But these prices are now ludicrous. Costs have risen for everyone and I do not begrudge any restaurant or business from raising prices. But when you know you are being taken for a ride you have to draw a line somewhere. Jai Ho's prices are not something we are willing to spend anymore. Update 3 months after my initial review: mushroom rice is now £5.75 😂😂😂
