Best Chinese I’ve had in a long time !! I can’t stop thinking about how nice it was! I would definitely go back again… price is also very good too if you’re paying for the buffet !! Walking into the restaurant, it's very dark but you soon get acclimatised. Initially given menus with no prices - ? We had to ask. The buffet menu. £25 pp. We had to ask for the alternative. Maybe that's just certain days. But. We then got what seemed to be the same menu but individually priced. Up to you. How much are you going to eat? There was some confusion regarding the 'Rainbow bean curd soup'. Still on the menu but apparently not available. I ordered the Beancurd with Chinese Vegetables, but specifically no carrots or baby corn (they're not chinese veg anyway, but you have to check!). It was great but there was no leafy chinese veg (choi sum etc) which was a shame, but still really tasty, and some chilli oil gave the boiled rice a kick. But obvs that's my personal choice Oh how I wish restaurants would offer wholegrain/red/green/black rice as an alternative to white rice!! Also the meat eaters loved their choices especially the black bean sauce. Lovely restaurant, lovely food. Maybe a little pricey. Vegetarian options: The beancurd was really nice. Not over cooked the way some restaurants do!
