Decent midsized mall. It has a Sainsbury’s supermarket, a few clothes shops, Wilko, Starbucks, and a few other small shops. There are a few spots where it seems there are vacancies or new stores being built. The south exit has an interesting automatic ramp going up two stories instead of an escalator. It’s a bit slow if you’re walking but useful if you’re using a shopping trolley to take things to your car in the car park. Note that the car park is free after a certain time in the evening — check the signage. I accidentally paid after the applicable time.

Had all the Covid 19 notices up but I could see a number of people not wearing masks in this indoor space. Given Bishops Stortford currently in the high zone or Tier 2 for Covid restrictions you would like to see security asking those people to wear face masks as indicated on the posters. Still quite a few empty shops but getting back to 'normal' sort of. Eagerly waiting the arrival of TK Maxx!? 12 May 23. Still quite a few shops empty in this shopping centre. It's the large shops that remain unoccupied and sad to see. Car park charges not helping either. It isn't possible to stop for a short time without paying the full amount. However the centre is clean and tidy and you can usually find what you need in a quick shop.
