Ordered a Diddy P from Jack. I had a professional fit it in my bass but it was already faulty, dead pot. Jack denied it was anything to do with him. Refused refund and charged me for repairs. a year or so on and now the other pot is dying. Terrible product and service.

Thank you Jack's Instruments Service! Jack & Steve did a wonderful job restoring my guitar. It's a very weird unique guitar from the late 1970s, and when I brought it to them it was completely unplayable with none of the electronics working (which was a shame as it has an active boost and active varitone). I told them I wanted to keep as much of the original parts in as possible and they managed to bring it all back to life! They got the electronics working again (they hadn't worked since the 1980s!), figured out that one of the pick up was broken and got it restored (rather than replacing it with a new one). They also secured the bridge which had moved with age, cut a new nut, filed the frets and gave it and advanced set up, which I can't recommend enough. On top of that, their customer service is excellent, they made sure to discuss progress and include me in the decisions. When I came to collect it, Jack took the time to explain everything they'd repaired and show me all the cool features that were now finally working. It's clear they're experts at their craft, would absolutely recommend!

I really can’t believe how much work you’ve done on my battered old Iceman in such a short space of time and for such a reasonable price; less than £100 in total and it’s playing better than any of my £2000+ plus instruments…plus, you’ve somehow made the pickups I hated sound weirdly good?! It almost made me cry when I got home and cranked the volume, this guitar has enormous sentimental value to me and finally has the feel and sound to match. I can’t thank you enough, would absolutely recommend you to anyone who wants new life breathed into an instrument. All in all, a pleasure to deal with and an incredible end result.
