Very nice day! I love foraging but I think it would be a fun adventure for anyone! It was great to learn different plants and their benefits and what you can do with them, and nice walking in a beautiful place in nature, and fun time cooking and eating as well. The teachers are great, very nice and helpful. It was a really enjoyable day. Nice, unique gift to give someone and go with them for an experience rather than more stuff...you gain useful information that can help you be healthier!

The one-day spoon carving course was our second Jack Raven experience, the first being seven years prior. I began with no confidence in my ability to use the tools but the instruction was clear so I made my best effort and was delighted with the results. I *will* be back next summer: the pull of the axe course was irresistable.Thank you Jack Raven, for a very memorable day.

I recently completed the 5 day bush survival course and I had such an amazing time! Gary, Bob, Pete and Nicola are amazing teachers and hosts and I learnt a huge amount from all of them. Having not done any bushcraft or much outdoors activity, I was definitely thrown in the deep end but Gary and his team were exceptionally patient with us. We learnt how to make fire, identify natural tinders, knife skills, water locating and purification and may more skills over the first 3 days. On the last day we put out skills to the test and had to implement them with a semi realistic survival situation. I just want to commend the team for providing such a great place to call home for 5 days, the setup was professional and I never felt uncomfortable. Gary is an excellent teacher and i learnt a huge amount from him. I will definitely be coming back next year to go on some of the other courses he runs!

We attended the 1 day foraging course yesterday and I can say it was a brilliant experience. A relaxing day out, the weather on our side, in good company with Gary and Nicola and the other participants. After learning about and picking lots of leaves, we cooked them in tasty dishes together back at the camp. Delicious ending to a very enjoyable and interesting day.
