Returning to formal guitar lessons after many years, I found Jack on Google after a quick search. Despite some reservations about having lessons online, I should not have worried. Jack does an quick check on ability and then is straight into tailoring a curriculum that suits you individually. This he then sends you, along with a little video lesson to help by way of a reminder. I would certainly recommend Jack to either beginners or more experienced guitarists. Edit

Andy Beech Ive been trying on and off since i was a kid to play a recognisable sound thats like an original song but with no success until now with Jacks patience and fantastic tuition. I would recommend jack to anybody who wants to learn to play the guitar. Now I’ve started learning how to play the electric guitar using new skills with Jacks vast knowledge of technical skills to pass on to his students.

If you’re looking for a guitar tutor look no further than Jack. I picked up a guitar for the first time around three years ago and over that time Jack has provided me with an absolutely fantastic level of tutorship. He’s given me the opportunity to learn progressively at a rate that not only develops my playing but also my confidence and on top of that by playing along to songs by my favourite bands. At the end of the lesson I’m always keen to work on my ‘homework’ and look forward to the next lesson.

I have been having lessons with Jack for two years now, I had previously tried to learn from YouTube and was frustrated with my lack of progress. I decided enough was enough and was lucky to find Jacks website. Two years of lessons with Jack later and I can now play fifteen songs along to the tracks ( which I never thought I’d be able to do) , can do some improvisation in minor pentatonic scales to backing tracks , have decent knowledge of the fretboard and chords and even song composition theory. I’m currently learning sweet child of mine which is brilliant. The hour long lesson feels like five minutes due to Jacks relaxed tuition style, he is a genuinely nice guy with a great teaching style, vast knowledge and amazing technique. I would recommend Jack to anyone who wants to advance and fast forward their playing. Pete
