I have nothing but good things to say about the service in the shop. Weston shoes are notoriously difficult to fit and the lady who served me took as much time as needed to get the perfect fit and make 100% sure all was good before leaving the store. I was also met with a follow up call a couple of weeks after purchase do make sure I was satisfied with the sizing and the shoes.

Shameful service. I called the Jermyn street boutique after receiving a less than satisfactory polishing of my Weston shoes. I called expecting that the boutique would offer to rectify the issue. Instead, I was effectively told that they did me a favour, as they could have charged me nearly double the 20 pounds that they did. I should also mention that when I dropped my shoes off several days before, there was no mention of costs. Whilst I don’t mind paying for a polishing service, I expect the shoes to look better than what I could have done myself in under 5 minutes, and I believe it to be a professional courtesy to notify the customer of the fee. Instead, I was asked to pay when I picked up my shoes. It seems to me that the London boutique has some catching up to do with its other branches, and its competition on Jermyn Street, like Lobb, whom I have only positive things to say. Needless to say, I'll stick to polishing my westons myself.
