Bathroom finished. Looking amazing and we are so happy with the finished bathroom. Taz a big thanks for yourself for coming over and giving us the quote and supporting us and making this stress free. Taz was honest and helped with the ordering of the new tiles and bathroom items and gave good advice on what we could do with this small bathroom and most importantly he honest and kept in touch while the works was being completed. Taz most importantly you have a great team and what a good company you run. Rob and Sean who completed this project was amazing guys and cannot fault the workmanship. Honest , clean and friendly lads and taken great pride in their work. Cleaned every day before leaving and answered any questions I had. ( Plus the Sparky's ) Rob and Sean went out their way and collected more tiles. Even looked after the dog while we popped out. Personal thanks to them from myself and from my family. I searched for a few months to find the right contractor for the job of updating our bathroom. After coming across J Alexander Contractors and checking out their work, I was sure they were the guys for the job.....I was not wrong!! It was a great service from the first time messaging the company and speaking with Zoe to make the initial appointment. Then meeting Taz, he was friendly, open, honest and had the knowledge, which put us at ease straight away. We had a rough idea of what we wanted, but he gave us suggestions to bring it to life. Other contractors had suggested we couldn't really move anything around, but for J Alexander it wasn't a problem. The quote was sent through in a timely fashion, which we accepted and paid the deposit. As part of the quote he offered us his trade discount to purchase tiles, flooring and sanitary ware. This was very handy and as he worked with the supplier regularly, we found this an easy and stress free way to purchase the materials. The supplier and J Alexander communicated with each other to arrange delivery etc. We then had the delight of having Rob and Sean as our fitters, such polite, friendly guys. Cannot praise them highly enough. Communicated with us every step of the way, about what was happening daily. Little stumbling blocks came up that couldn't have been foreseen, they had the knowledge and skill to find a solution and make it work. They arrived on time in the mornings and cleaned up after themselves each night. They arranged for all the waste to be taken away within days, which was convenient and handy, and one less job to organise. The quality of the workmanship is top notch, and they put great finishing touches that we were not expecting. 2 weeks in, we are so pleased with our new updated bathroom and walk in shower, which is bright, light and refreshing. I would not hesitate to recommend this local company for use, absolutely 5 star from start to finish.

Amazing job done by J Alexander Contractors on our bathroom and toilet room refurbishment. Right from the start when Taz came to quote we felt confident and reassured about all aspects of the job. Communication was really prompt during the whole process, from the ordering of parts through their trade account (which also gives a good discount), and during the works. Rob and Sean did a fabulous job, really paying attention to the detail and involving us in every step by checking in with us on any decisions required, etc. and keeping us updated on progress and next steps every day. We also really appreciated their honesty throughout the process. Their advice around what might work best in the design was also so useful. But also, at the very end when there was the tiniest defect on one of the units, it didn't meet their standard and they reordered the part and had it fitted to complete the works the next day! The quality of the work is of the highest standard and Rob/Sean/Taz/Gaz (the electrician) were knowledgeable, kind, calm under pressure and all had a good sense of humour too! We're really pleased with the outcome and can't recommend them enough. Thanks again Christian, Natasha and Leo

I am absolutely delighted with my new bathroom. From the moment I spoke with Taz I knew that I was in safe hands. He helped me source the materials from Easy Bathrooms Stourbridge, who were more than helpful. Taz advised me on everything and booked me in. I was away on holiday but felt more than comfortable leaving the keys with him. Matt and Connor worked so hard, they were so tidy, knowledgeable and dealt with lots of challenges in a calm professional manner. They absolutely instilled confidence in me and their workmanship is of the highest quality and standard. Gaz the electrician was also of the highest standard and efficient, great team work. It was the best experience I've ever had with builders and will definitely be using this company again for future projects. 100% recommend them for quality of work, on time, on budget, polite, responsive and nothing was too much trouble. Absolutely brilliant contractors. Hired them to knock through a small bathroom into an airing cupboard and install a larger bathroom in the new space. Despite setbacks beyond the pale and a more complicated job than first assumed, the foreman (Taz) kept us informed throughout and explained problems, possible solutions, and associated costs. Job was completed in good time and to an impeccable standard. Workmen were polite, friendly, and highly skilled. Would definitely recommend and will use again for future jobs!
